UGC NET 2024 Exam Rescheduled for August 21, check out for more details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule for the UGC NET June 2024 examination. Initially scheduled for August 26th, one of the exams has been rescheduled to August 27th, 2024, due to the observance of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on the original date. The rest of the exams will continue as planned from August 21st to September 4th, 2024.

The UGC NET June 2024 will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, held across various cities in India. This extensive examination will cover 83 subjects, providing a thorough assessment throughout the scheduled period. Despite the adjustment of one exam date, all other dates remain unchanged as per the public notice issued on August 2nd, 2024.

On August 12th, 2024, NTA released an intimation slip concerning the examination city. Although this slip is not an admit card, it provides advance information about the location of the exam centre. This allows candidates to plan their travel and preparation in advance. The actual admit card will be issued at a later date.
