The UGC NET 2022 online application form deadline has been extended by the University Grants Commission, according to UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. The last date to apply for the UGC NET 2022 is now May 30, 2022. Candidates will be able to submit their applications and pay their fees by May 30 at the latest.
On Sunday, May 22, 2022, the UGC Chairman made the announcement. The UGC NET 2022 application was set to close on May 20, 2022, but it was reopened on May 21 for changes and edits. However, in response to candidate requests, the application deadline was extended and the website was reopened at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
According to UGC Chairman's statement to news agency ANI, "In pursuant to representations from the candidates, regarding submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), it has been decided to extend the last date for submission and fee payment to 30 May 2022."

Candidates have till May 30, 2022 to apply for the UGC National Eligibility Test, NET 2022. The application fee must also be submitted by May 30. Below are the steps to apply for the UGC NET Exam 2022.
