TS TET Result 2024 Announced, Know how to check the result

The Telangana School Education Department has announced that the results for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) will be released today, June 12. Candidates can access and download their results from the official websites: schooledu.telangana.gov.in and tstet2024.aptonline.in.

Exam Details

The TS TET exam was conducted from May 20 to June 3, with each session lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exams were held in two sessions each day: from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Provisional answer keys and candidate responses have already been made available.

• A new PDF file will open where candidates can check their answers.

Weightage and Qualification Criteria

The TET score has a 20% weightage in teacher recruitment tests in Telangana. To qualify:

• General candidates: Need at least 60% marks to pass.
• BC category candidates: Require 50% or above.
• SC/ST/Differently abled candidates: Need 40% or more.

Eligibility and Teaching Scope

Passing the TS TET qualifies candidates to teach grades 1 to 8 in government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, and both private aided and unaided schools in Telangana. Eligible candidates include those with completed or ongoing teaching diplomas (DElEd, DEd, BEd) or equivalent qualifications such as language pandit certifications.
