TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Registration Starts Tomorrow at lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will start the registration for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) counseling 2024 on August 5. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website, lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in, for admission into three-year or five-year LLB programs.

Registration and Payment Details:

Students must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 800, while SC/ST candidates need to pay Rs 500. This fee covers registration and verification and must be paid online using credit cards, debit cards, or internet banking in favor of 'Secretary, TGCHE.'

According to the counseling schedule, students have until August 20 to complete their registration for law admissions. Note that the online notification serves as a call for web counseling; no separate call letters will be sent to individual candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for 3-Year LLB Programme:

Candidates for the three-year LLB course must have completed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category. Candidates with less than these percentages in graduation must have achieved the required percentage in any post-graduation or BEd.

Those who obtained their degree through a single sitting without undergoing a three-year course or through open universities without basic qualifications are not eligible as per G.O. Ms. No. 31 dated 18-03-2009.

Eligibility Criteria for 5-Year LLB Programme:

For the five-year LLB course, candidates should have passed a two-year intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category. The examination should be recognized by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S./ A.P.

Applicants who obtained their qualifications through open universities without basic qualifications like SSC are not eligible for admission into LLB courses.
It is crucial to remember that attending web counseling does not guarantee a seat. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria and follow the registration process diligently to secure admission into their desired law program.
