TS EAMCET-II Paper Leak: Exam Likely To Be Cancelled

TS EAMCET-II is likely to be cancelled due to the question papers leak. In connection, with the paper leak, the Telangana CID has arrested offenders, a day after registering a FIR.

 

On account of alleged question paper leak of TS EAMCET-II, Telangana Police Chief on July 22, 2016 ordered a CIB probe. The students' groups and parents raised doubts after many meritorious students failed to get good rank while students who did not perform well in EAMCET-I secured top ranks.

The TS EAMCET-II was held on July 9, 2016 and the results were decalred on July 14, 2016. About 50,964 candidates have appeared for the TS EAMCET-II-2016 examination out of the 56,153 registered.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad conducts TS EAMCET on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) for admissions into various MBBS and BDS courses offered for the academic session 2016-17.

TS EAMCET-II Paper Leak: Exam To Be Cancelled

According to Oneindia News, 69 students managed to get their hands on the leaked question papers and scamsters collected Rs 40 lakhs to Rs 70 lakhs from each student.

The CID has further concluded that Telangana EAMCET-II question paper was leaked from Delhi printing press. The department will submit its report to the Telangana government on Thursday.
