Tripura to Begin E-attendance in Govt Schools

Under the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, this digital transformation seeks to instill transparency throughout the academic ecosystem and foster improved school operations. Originally launched by PM Modi in Gujarat in 2022, the Vidya Samiksha Kendra serves as a catalyst for educational enhancement, envisioned by the Union Education Ministry to augment existing educational capacities, thereby facilitating transformative educational outcomes.

According to a senior Education Department official, the comprehensive implementation of the e-attendance system in all government schools is expected to be completed within two years. This digital transition is anticipated to streamline academic processes and enhance school efficiency. Additionally, post e-attendance implementation, a geo-tagging system will be introduced to provide online access to all necessary information, ensuring further accessibility and transparency.
