The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has decided to hold the board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 for important subjects only considering the prevailing Covid-19 situation across the state, however, the board has not set any schedule yet.
Earlier, the TBSE had postponed both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams which were scheduled to be conducted from 18 May 2021 and 19 May 2021, respectively, due to an increase in the Covid-19 cases.
"Due to the pandemic situation, it is not possible to take examinations in all subjects, and we have decided to hold examinations in three subjects only for Class 10 and some subjects of Class 12. We are likely to take a decision in this regard in June," said Dr. Bhabatosh Saha, President of TBSE.
