TRB Recruitment 2019 For 2,340 Assistant Professors Post, Earn Up To Rs. 1.82 Lakh per month

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), under Govt. of Tamil Nadu, has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 2,340 vacancies to post of Assistant Professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service to be posted across the Government Arts & Science Colleges and Colleges of Education in the region through direct recruitment.

The recruitment will be for various disciplines comprising BBM, Chemistry, Commerce, Botany, Computer Technology, Economics, Education, Tamil, Electronics and Communication, Environmental Science, English, History, Journalism and Mass Communication, IT, Music, Tourism, Tamil, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, etc. The online application process towards the same starts from September 4, 2019 and closes on September 24, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Professors post through TRB Recruitment must not have exceeded 57 years of age as on July 01, 2019 as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 600 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 300 (SC/ST/PWD) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc, payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Assistant Professors post through TRB Recruitment must possess a Ph.D Degree; Post Graduation Degree with minimum 55% marks in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institute, and must have qualified NET/SLET/CSIR/SLST/JRF as per the UGC norms in the relevant discipline.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Professors post through TRB Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting, Teaching Experience, Academic Performance and Interview.

Candidates selected as Assistant Professors will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400 per month.
