TPSC JE Recruitment 2022: The Tripura Public Service Commission has invited online applications from eligible candidates for a total of 200 posts of Junior Engineer. Candidates can apply online for the TPSC JE Recruitment from 26.11.2022 to 26.12.2022 (5.30 PM). All interested and eligible candidates should fill out the TPSC application on or before the last date to appear for the selection process.

The TPSC selection process comprises three stages, Preliminary Exam, Main (written) exam, and Interview-cum-personality test. TPSC JE Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Details

Candidates must fulfill the TPSC JE eligibility criteria before applying for the post. The eligibility criteria factors are elaborated on below:

Age Limit
The age of the candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years as of 26-12-2022 when applying for TPSC Junior Engineers Recruitment. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of ST/SC/ PH candidates and Government Servant.

Educational Qualification
The TPSC JE Educational Qualification for all the posts are as follows:
Junior Engineer, Grade-V(A) Degree: Degree in an appropriate branch of engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.
Junior Engineer, Grade-V(B), Diploma: Diploma in an appropriate branch of engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from a recognized institution.

TPSC JE Application Fees 2022

The TPSC Junior Engineer application fees will be as follow:

Group-B Gazetted posts:-Rs. 350/-for General Candidates and Rs.250/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
Group-C non-Gazetted Posts: - Rs.200/- for General Candidates and Rs.150/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates

TPSC JE Selection Process 2022

The TPSC JE selection process comprises three stages as shared below
Preliminary Examination: The prelims exam is an MCQ-type test and carries a total of 100 marks. It is a screening test conducted only for the purpose of selecting candidates for the Main Examination.

Main Examination: The main written exam carries a total of 500 marks. The candidates who will qualify in the Main(Written) Examination will be shortlisted in the Interview Cum Personality Test.

Interview Round: The Interview-cum-Personality Test carries a total of 50 marks. This test is conducted to assess the personal qualities of a candidate e.g. intellectual ability, critical power of judgment, variety, and depth of interest, social traits, interest in current affairs, the ability for leadership, moral integrity, etc.

The final selection list shall be prepared in order of merit based on the marks obtained by a candidate in aggregate in the Main (written) examination and the marks secured by them in the interview cum personality test.
