Top 1.5 lakh candidates JEE Main 2014 score stays valid for two years

JEE Main 2014 score is valid for two years

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the JEE Main 2014 results on 03rd May 2014.

Only top 1.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main 2014, are eligible to take JEE Advanced 2014 examination.

The good news is that the candidates who have secured in top 1.5 lakh list, would have their JEE Main 2014 scores valid for two more years.

Also, these candidates can write the JEE Advanced in 2014 and 2015. This step motivates the candidates to achieve their dream to study at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

If any of these students weren't able to clear the JEE Advanced in 2014, they are allowed to appear for examination in 2015 directly.

JEE Advanced 2014 Scheme of the Examination

JEE Advanced 2014 will be jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.

JEE Advanced 2014 examination will be held on 25th May 2014.

Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2014:
Top 75750 (50.5 %) Common Merit List.
Top 40500 (27%) Other Backward Classes-Non creamy layer OBC (NCL).
Top 22500 (15 %) Scheduled Caste (SC).
Top 11250 (7.5 %) Scheduled Tribe (ST).
