According to the UK council for International Student affairs website, TOEIC and TOEFL tests has been suspended.
As per the report, ETS has made the decision not to extend their Secure English-language Testing (SELT) license with the Home Office. As a result, TOEIC and TOEFL testing will no longer be accepted for UK visa-granting purposes.
The website also sites that the Home Office has also suspended processing student immigration applications in the UK that include Educational Testing Service qualifications, while it investigates.
The students aspiring to get a UK Visa will now have to take a test with one of the five other providers of secure English language tests that are approved by the Home Office.
If candidate immigration application to the Home Office in the UK is still pending, and he / she has used an ETS test for it, the candidate should contact the student adviser at institution as soon as possible. Candidate should also watch out for a letter in the post.
If candidates have already appeared for an English language test in the UK with ETS, and need to make an extension application to the Home Office very soon, he / she would need to talk to the respective student advisers at their institution straightaway.
