TNPSC Recruitment: Apply for Group II Combined Civil Services Examination

An official notification has been released by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for the Combined Civil Services Examination II. TNPSC is holding the examination for recruitment to various Group II A Services (non interview posts).

Selection Process
The recruitment process will be online and there will not be any face to face interview.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test which will carry a total of 300 marks. Candidates will be allowed 3 hours to take the test. The test will comprise of general studies, aptitude and mental ability test and general Tamil/ general English.
What does the TNPSC official notification read about fees?
"It is mandatory for the applicants to register their basic particulars through One-Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment. The One-Time Registration will be valid for 5 years from the date of registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee."
Eligibility
Age criteria
- Candidates must be more than 18 years of age. There no maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs and DWs of all castes
- For open category, it is is 30 years for others
Educational qualification
- Candidates must be graduate; discipline wise eligibility criteria vary, candidates are therefore suggested to go through the official notification before applying.
- Adequate knowledge of Tamil
