The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Combined Statistical Subordinate Services Examination and Combined Civil Services Examination-III (Group-III.A Services) on their official website i.e tnpsc.gov.in. A total of 232 vacancies for Assistant Statistical Investigator, Computor, Statistical Compiler, Junior Inspector & Storekeeper for the TNPSC Recruitment. All interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the respective posts up to 14.10.2022.

The TNPSC recruitment selection process comprises a single stage i.e Written Exam. The candidate will be selected for the post based on the marks obtained in the written exam and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Combined Statistical Subordinate Services Examination Age Limit

SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all categories: No Maximum Age limit

Others: 32 years.

Combined Civil Services Examination-III (Group-III.A Services) Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age (Others): 32 years

The upper age limit varies as per the category of the candidates applying for the post

Educational Qualification

Assistant Statistical Investigator

Degree in Statistics or Degree in Mathematics /Computer Science / Economics/ Computer Applications with Statistics as an ancillary /allied Subject Or Any degree with a post-graduate degree in Operations Research / Econometrics / Mathematical Economics.

Statistical Compiler: Degree in Statistics

Computor: A Degree in Statistics or Degree in Bio-Statistics

Junior Inspector of Co-operative Societies in Co-operative Department: Minimum General Educational Qualification (i.e.S.S.L.C.)

Store-Keeper, Grade-II in Industries and Commerce Department: Passed the Pre-University Or Higher Secondary Examination.

Note: The candidate should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
