TNPSC Recruitment 2019 For Assistant Geologist And Geochemist; Earn Up To Rs. 1.2 Lakh Per Month

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Govt of Tamil Nadu has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling 15 vacancies to the post of Assistant Geologists and Assistant Geochemists in the Department of Geology and Mining, and Public Works Department, respectively.

The online registration cum application towards the same will start from 12 February 2019 and close on 11 March 2019, with 13 March 2019 as the last date for payment of exam fees.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Assistant Geologists and Assistant Geochemists through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 01 July 2019. There is no upper age limit for all reserved candidates comprising SC/SC(A)/Sts/Dcs/Bcs/BCMs and MBCs.

Candidates must pay a requisite amount of Rs. 150 (all unreserved candidates) as registration fee, and Rs. 150/- for examination either through online (netbanking/debit/credit/etc payment gateways) mode, or through offline mode at SBI/Indian Bank within 2 days of submission of application.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Assistant Geologists must possess an M.Sc Degree in Geology from a recognised University/Institute, and those applying for the post of Assistant Geochemists through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a Master's Degree in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognised University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Assistant Geologists and Assistant Geochemists through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Competitive Examination scheduled to be held on 21 April 2019 and an Interview.

Candidates selected as Assistant Geologists and Assistant Geochemists will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs.37,700 - 1,19,500/- under Level 20 pay matrix.
