TNPSC Recruitment 2019: 580 Assist. Agriculture Officer Vacancies; Earn Up To 65,000 Per Month

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for filling 580 Assistant Agriculture Officer vacancies under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service. Candidates interested in this post must apply before 27 January 2019 with 29 January 2019 as the last date for payment of fees through the bank.

Age Criteria And Fee

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Agriculture Officers (AAOs) should have attained 18 years of age as on 07 January 2018 and not exceeded 30 years (all candidates other than the SC/SC(A),ST/MBC/DC,BCand BCM). There is no upper age limit for all the reserved candidates.

Candidates are also required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 100 (all unreserved candidates) towards the application process through online as well as off line payment gateways as detailed in the notification. SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs candidates are exempted from payment of fees. However, all candidates are required to deposit Rs. 150/- towards One-Time Registration (OTR) valid for a period of 5 years.

Educational Details

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Agriculture Officers through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 must have qualified subordinate or 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised University/Board.

He/she must also possess a 2 years Diploma in Agriculture from a government recognised Institute/University.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Assistant Agriculture Officers through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done through a written examination scheduled on 07 March 2019.

The examination comprises two papers totaling 500 marks (OMR Format) -

Paper I - Subject Paper for 300 marks
Paper II - General Studies for 200 marks
Candidates selected as Assistant Agriculture Officers through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 will be paid under Level 10 in the scale of Rs. 20,600/ - Rs. 65,500/- per month
