TNPSC Notification: Apply Online For Project Officer And Psychologist Post, Earn Up To Rs. 1.77 Lakh

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling three vacancies to the post of Project Officer (01) in the Government Institute for Mentally Retarded, Tambaram and Psychologist (02) under the Tamil Nadu General Service and Tamil Nadu Jail Service respectively through direct recruitment. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on September 30, 2019 and closes on October 29, 2019 with October 31, 2019 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Project Officer and Psychologist posts through TNPSC Notification must have attained 28 years of age and not be more than 30 years (45 years for Project Officer post) as on July 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and Destitute Widow candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 150 (all categories) as registration fee, and Rs. 200 (Gen/OC) as examination fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through offline mode at SBI/HDFC Bank within two days from the date of submission of their application. However, SC/SC(A)/ST/PWD/DW candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Project Officer and Psychologist posts through TNPSC Notification must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology (PO post); Master's Degree in Psychology (Psychologist post) from a recognised University/Institution with one to five years of work experience in the relevant domain concerned.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Project Officer and Psychologist posts through TNPSC Notification will be done through a Written Examination and Oral Test (Interview).

Candidates shortlisted for Project Officer and Psychologist posts through TNPSC Notification will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
