TNPSC Notification: Apply Online For Assistant Section Officers Post, Earn Up To Rs. 1.15 Lakh

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling Five (05) vacancies to the post of Assistant Section Officer (Translation) through direct recruitment to be posted in the Tamil Development and Information Department. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on November 8, 2019 and closes on December 8, 2019 with December 10, 2019 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Section Officer posts through TNPSC Notification must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 30 years as on July 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and Destitute Widow candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 150 (all categories) as registration fee, and Rs. 100 (Gen/OC) as examination fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through offline mode at SBI/HDFC Bank within two days from the date of submission of their application. However, SC/SC(A)/ST/PWD/DW candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Assistant Section Officer posts through TNPSC Notification must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) with Tamil/Hindi in any one of the parts in the Degree course from a recognised University/Institution as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Section Officer posts through TNPSC Notification will be done through a Written Examination and Oral Test (Interview).

Candidates shortlisted for Assistant Section Officer posts through TNPSC Notification will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 36,400 to Rs. 1,15,700 per month.
