TNPSC Notification: Apply Online For 69 Deputy Collectors, Dy SP, AC, Registrar And DO Posts

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 69 vacancies to the post of Deputy Collector (18), Deputy Superintendent of Police (19), Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes - 10), Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies (14), Assistant Director of Rural Development (07), and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services) posts through direct recruitment. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on January 20, 2020 and closes on February 19, 2020 with February 21, 2020 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for various posts through TNPSC Notification must fall in the age group between 21 to 38 years of age as on July 1, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC and BCM candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 150 (all categories) as registration fee, Rs. 100 as Preliminary examination fee, and Rs. 200 as Main examination fee respectively either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through offline mode at SBI/HDFC Bank within two days from the date of submission of their application. However, SC/SC(A)/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for various posts through TNPSC Notification must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline); Commerce Degree; Post-Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution as specified in the notification.

Preference shall be given to candidates who possess National awards for Physical efficiency.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for various posts through TNPSC Notification will be done through a Written Examination (Preliminary and Main) and Oral Test (Interview).
Candidates shortlisted for various posts through TNPSC Notification will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
