TNPSC Notification: Apply Online For 176 Civil Judges Post, Earn Up To Rs. 44,770 Per Month

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates as well as Practising Advocates(PA)/Assistant Public Prosecutors (APP) for filling 176 vacancies to the post of Civil Judge under the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service through direct recruitment. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on September 9, 2019 and closes on October 9, 2019 with October 11, 2019 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Civil Judge posts through TNPSC Notification must have attained 22 years of age (25 years for PA/APP) and not be more than 27 years (40 years for PA/APP) as on July 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and Destitute Widow candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 150 (all categories) as registration fee, and Rs. 500 (Gen/OC) as examination fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through offline mode at SBI/HDFC Bank within two days from the date of submission of their application. However, SC/SC(A)/ST/PWD/DW candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Civil Judge posts through TNPSC Notification must possess a Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institution, and should have enrolled as an advocate. (PA/APP must be practising as an Advocate or Pleader in any Court for a period of minimum three years).

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Civil Judge posts through TNPSC Notification will be done through a Competitive Examination comprising Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-Voce Test. (Interview)

Candidates shortlisted for Civil Judge posts through TNPSC Notification will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 27,700 to Rs. 44,770 per month
