TNPSC Notification: Apply Online For 1,141 Veterinary Asst. Surgeons Post, Earn Up To Rs. 1.75 Lakh

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 1,141 vacancies to the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Service through direct recruitment. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on November 18, 2019 and closes on December 17, 2019 with December 19, 2019 as the last date for paying the application fee.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts through TNPSC Notification must not be more than 30 years of age as on July 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and Destitute Widow candidates as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 150 (all categories) as one-time registration fee (OTR), and Rs. 200 (Gen/OC) as examination fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through offline mode at SBI/HDFC Bank within two days from the date of submission of their application. However, SC/SC(A)/ST/PWD/DW candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts through TNPSC Notification should possess a B.V.Sc., Degree from a recognised University/Institution, and must have passed Tamil as one of the languages in Higher Secondary Public Examination/Intermediate or its equivalent as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts through TNPSC Notification will be done through a Written Examination (Paper I - Subject Paper and Paper II - General Paper) and Oral Test (Interview).

Candidates shortlisted for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts through TNPSC Notification will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 55,500 to Rs. 1,75,700 per month.
