TNEA 2026 Round 1 Allotment Results Released at tneaonline.org; Check Seat Allotment and Round 2 Choice Fillin
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has released the TNEA 2026 Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result for engineering admissions. Candidates who participated in the first round of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling can now check their allotment status and download the provisional seat allotment letter by logging in to the official TNEA counselling portal at tneaonline.org.
TNEA 2026 Round 1 Allotment Results Released
Along with the Round 1 allotment, the counselling authority has also activated the Round 2 choice filling and modification window. Eligible candidates can submit or edit their college and branch preferences from August 3 to August 8, 2026. Applicants are advised to carefully review their choices before locking them, as the allotment in the next round will be based on the preferences submitted.
TNEA 2026 Round 2 Counselling Schedule
According to the official counselling calendar, Round 2 is meant for candidates with aggregate marks between 171 and 135.75 and general ranks from 37,977 to 1,31,093.

How to Download TNEA 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter
Candidates can download their provisional allotment letter by following these steps:
1. Visit the official TNEA counselling website.
2. Click on the candidate login section.
3. Enter the registered email ID/mobile number and password.
4. Open the Round 1 Seat Allotment section.
5. Check the allotted college and course details.
6. Download and print the provisional allotment letter for future admission formalities.
How to Fill and Lock Choices for Round 2
Eligible candidates participating in the second round should follow these steps:
1. Log in to the TNEA counselling portal.
2. Select the Choice Filling option.
3. Add or modify preferred colleges and engineering branches.
4. Arrange the choices in the desired order of preference.
5. Review all selections carefully.
6. Lock the choices before the deadline on August 8, 2026.
7. Save and download the confirmation page.
Candidates who fail to lock their preferences before the deadline may not be considered for Round 2 allotment.
