Anna University, Chennai has announced that the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2014 counselling has been postponed.
According to the supreme court, in view of the orders passed on June 26, writ petitions nos. 538 of 2014 etc., granting 7 days time to AICTE to take a decision on all the applications pending before the AICTE for grant of approval to certain technical institutions and the opinion expressed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court that it would not be appropriate to adhere to the present schedule of counselling published by TNEA-2014.
The general academic counselling for engineering admissions scheduled to commence from June 27 stands postponed.
The revised date of counselling for the candidates who have bee classed for counselling from June 27 onwards will be informed shortly.
