Steps to apply for TN TRB Secondary Teacher Recruitment 2024
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) at www.trb.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the Apply Online section in the important links on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking on Apply Online, register for Secondary Grade Teacher Posts by providing essential details such as name, contact information, etc.
Step 4: Use the generated password and registration number to log in to the portal.
Step 5: Complete the application form by entering other required information and uploading documents in the prescribed format.
Step 6: Pay the application fee according to your category.
Step 7: Finally, click on the 'submit' button to complete the registration process.
Age Limit
The minimum age requirement is 18 years, with a maximum age limit of 57 years. According to the notification, there may be relaxation in the upper age limit for applicants belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.
Selection Process
The selection process for the position of Secondary Grade Teacher is likely to comprise two stages: the Written Exam and Documentation. Candidates who participate in the first stage and qualify by achieving at least the cutoff marks or higher will proceed to the second stage. Final selection will be based on the applicants' performance in the Written Exam.
Examination Fee
General candidates are required to remit ₹600 for the examination,
whereas SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled individuals are subject to a reduced fee of ₹300.
Exam Pattern
Part A and Part B of the TN TRB Exam 2024 will be conducted separately.
Part A will carry a total of 50 marks, while Part B will be allotted 150 marks.
All questions in Part B will carry one mark each.
Part A will consist of objective-type questions, while Part B will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and an optical mark reader (OMR) examination.
