The Tamil Nadu Shorthand Bureau under Govt. of Tamil Nadu through a notification release called for recruiting 37 Junior Reporters through direct recruitment. Apply on or before 21 March 2019.

The Tamil Nadu Shorthand Bureau under the Tamil Nadu State Police Sub-ordinate Service, Govt. of Tamil Nadu has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling 37 vacancies to the post of Junior Reporters through direct recruitment. Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau must have attained 18 years of age as on 01 July 2018 and not exceeded 30 years (Gen), 32 years (BC/BCM/MBC/DC) and 35 years (SC/SC-A/ST), respectively.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau must have passed 10/+2/HSC or equivalent with Tamil as one of the subjects. He/she must have qualified the Govt. Technical Examination in English Shorthand and Typewriting by Higher Grade and must possess knowledge of Tamil Shorthand.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau will be done in two successive stages comprising Skill Test (Shorthand Dictation) and Oral Test to be conducted in Chennai.

Candidates selected as Junior Reporters will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 36,200/- to Rs. 1,14,800/- per month.

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau must fill the application in a prescribed format as given in the advertisement and submit the same along with self-attested copies of supporting documents/certificates as detailed in the notification.
