Age Criteria And Fees

Educational Criteria
Desirous candidates applying for the post of Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau must have passed 10/+2/HSC or equivalent with Tamil as one of the subjects. He/she must have qualified the Govt. Technical Examination in English Shorthand and Typewriting by Higher Grade and must possess knowledge of Tamil Shorthand.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Junior Reporters through TN Police Shorthand Bureau will be done in two successive stages comprising Skill Test (Shorthand Dictation) and Oral Test to be conducted in Chennai.
Candidates selected as Junior Reporters will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 36,200/- to Rs. 1,14,800/- per month.
