As per the sources, the Department has announced that Tamil Nadu 12th result 2021 will be available only on the board websites - dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Students need to enter their login credentials to check the TN Plus Two result 2021. This year, the Department has cancelled the Tamila Nadu 12th board exams due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has released an important notice regarding the TN 12th result 2021. As per the notice, TNDGE will declare TN HSC result 2021 on July 19 at 11 am. The Board has verified the results through the Chief Education Officers of districts. CM Stalin Announces TN HSC Result Criteria
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced the TN Class 12th result evaluation criteria. The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) will prepare the TN HSC result 2021 based on the alternative assessment criteria (50:20:30) formula. The TN Class 12th result will be prepared considering 50% weightage in Class 10th marks, 20% weightage in Class 11th standard and 30% weightage in Class 12th practicals and internals.
TN Chief Minister MK Stalin tweeted, "The system of calculating marks based on 10th, 11th and 12th classes has been announced due to the cancellation of Class 12th exam. My sincere congratulations to all the students for achieving their goals and objectives!"

Tamil Nadu Class 12th Result 2021 Evaluation Criteria
The TNDGE has announced an alternative assessment scheme to prepare the TN HSC result 2021 for the cancelled exams. The Department has given 50 per cent weightage to Class 10 board exams (average of three subjects with high marks). A total of 20% weightage is provided to the written exams in Class 11th (Plus One) standard. 30% weightage will be given to Class 12 practicals and internal assessment marks.

School Education Department Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi has stated that the exam authority has prepared the marking scheme in a balanced way. He also said that an option of appearing for the improvement exams will be provided to students. However, the exams will be held when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams.
