The declaration of the supplementary results is an important milestone for students who appeared in the compartment examinations to improve their scores or clear failed subjects. The results will enable successful candidates to proceed with admissions to undergraduate courses and other higher education programmes without losing an academic year.
According to the Directorate of Government Examinations, a total of 60,527 students appeared for the supplementary examinations conducted across Tamil Nadu from June 26 to July 16, 2026. The examinations were held at various centres across the state under strict guidelines.

In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact their respective schools or the Directorate of Government Examinations for necessary corrections.
The online marks statement serves as a provisional certificate, while the original mark sheets will be distributed through the respective schools at a later date.
