Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates applying for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as per the TISS norms.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 2,000 (Gen/OBC/EWS) and Rs. 500 (SC/ST/PWD) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc. payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 must possess Post-Graduate Degree in Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, (Sociology/Economics/Social Work/ Anthropology/ Psychology/Geography), Education, Law, Sciences, Languages and Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Gender Studies, Environmental Science, Development Studies, etc.); Master's Degree/Ph.D in concerned/relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

The selection of candidates for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected for Teaching Positions will be paid remuneration as per UGC regulations.
