TISS Recruitment 2019 For 39 Professors In Multiple Disciplines; Apply Online Before June 15

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 39 Teaching Positions comprising Professors, Associate and Assistant Professors in multiple schools - Health Systems Studies, Social Work, Management & Labor Studies, Human Ecology, Habitat Studies, Media and Cultural Studies, Disaster Studies, etc through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from May 23, 2019 and closes on June 15, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates applying for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as per the TISS norms.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 2,000 (Gen/OBC/EWS) and Rs. 500 (SC/ST/PWD) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc. payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 must possess Post-Graduate Degree in Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, (Sociology/Economics/Social Work/ Anthropology/ Psychology/Geography), Education, Law, Sciences, Languages and Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Gender Studies, Environmental Science, Development Studies, etc.); Master's Degree/Ph.D in concerned/relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Teaching Positions through TISS Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected for Teaching Positions will be paid remuneration as per UGC regulations.
