The TATA Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for selection of Tradesman Trainees in Electrical, Machinist, Fitter and Welder trades through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled on July 12, 2019 at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, 1 Homi Bhabha Road, Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai 400005 from 09:00 am onwards.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Tradesman Trainee posts through TIFR Recruitment 2019 must not be more than 28 years of age as on January 01, 2019 as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria
Desirous candidates applying for Tradesman Trainee posts through TIFR Recruitment 2019 must hold an ITI Certificate in Electrical/Machinist/Fitter/Welder trade duly approved and awarded by NCVT.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Tradesman Trainees through TIFR Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidates performance in the 'Walk-in-Interview' and ITI marks obtained in the relevant trade.
Candidates shortlisted as Tradesman Trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,500 per month.

Candidates applying for Tradesman Trainee posts through TIFR Recruitment 2019 must submit their applications through online mode on the official TIFR website at http://www.tifr.res.in/Notices/csearch.php?appid=career_notices after registering themselves on the Apprenticeship portal at http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in/pages/Apprenticeship/home.aspx on or before July 12, 2019.
Candidates must take a printout of their online (submitted) application, and appear for the 'Walk-In' interview scheduled on July 12, 2019 at the "Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, 1 Homi Bhabha Road, Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai 400005," along with their original and copies of supporting certificates from 9:00 am onwards.
