Many voices are simply not heard and this so often leads to apathy, injustice, neglect and merely moving ahead with the status quo, negating social and economic growth, and instilling a societal malaise.

Speaking on the theme for this year's MUN, Shane Kells, Head of School at Canadian International mentioned "What better message to focus on than lending a voice to those who may not be in a situation to be effectively heard themselves".

"Pragmatism, perseverance and proactivity - 3 key words that will help us all work towards a better tomorrow. The world is changing and we are educating students for jobs and skills that probably don't exist right now, so making sure that we are perseverant and proactive will reduce the need to solve problems that are of our own making", said Robert King - High School Principal, speaking on the event that has seen two successful years.
