The Mastermind Behind Karnataka PU Paper Leak nabbed
March proved quite an ominous month for both PU students and the PU board exam division. As the PU students were geared up to attend their Chemistry exam after burning the midnight oil, they were left in shock when the Chemistry question paper was leaked on March 21 resulting in the cancellation of the exams. The situation of the exams was brought to normal but it did not last long since the papers were again leaked on March 31 and exams were postponed. The students who had been working hard to attempt those exams were not only taken aback but they were deeply disappointed because their future was thrown into chaos for no fault of theirs.
Who Was Behind Such A Heinous Crime?
Shivakumaraiah is the mastermind behind the PU paper leak. He has been nabbed by the state CID after a month long operation. Shivakumaraiah has been sent to judicial custody for 10 days where he will be investigated for further details regarding the paper leak scandal. According to the CID officials, Shivakuraiah's son and a relative are also involved in the scandal but they are yet to be caught.
A Nightmare For The PU Board Exam Division
Leaking the Chemistry paper may not have tarnished the already infamous Shivakumaraiah and associates but it proved fatal for the PU Board Exam Division as 40 of its officials were suspended and Pallavi Akurathi, the Board Director, was transferred. This is an example of how a heinous crimes like paper leak can damage the image of a bona fide exam board and put the future of thousands of students at stake.
Nevertheless, the PU exams were successfully conducted on April 12 across the state. It shows how determined the board exam division is when it comes to conducting exams without any chaos and malpractices as these exams decide the future of many bright kids. Let us hope no such mishaps surface in future jeopardizing the education system and the people associated with it.
