Thapar University invites applications for its summer training course

Thapar university, Patiala invites applications for its summer training programme on JAVA and Oracle languages for the academic year 2014. This training programme is organised by Computer Science and Engineering Department of Thapar university. Interested students can enroll themselves by filling the application form available at the official website of Thapar University.

Course objective:

• To acquaint with the cutting edge network based client server programming.
• To learn Programming in Java runtime environment.
• To understand and apply the concepts of object oriented programming.
• To understand and implement latest tools like Oracle in development of backend for client server based projects.
• To understand the intricacies of project management.

Topics to be covered:

• Core Java - Application Development
• Basics of Database Designing
• Application development
• Building Java GUIs using the swing API
• Introduction to event JDBC and servlets

Key learnings:

• Trainee will be well trained to develop professional grade client server based projects.
• Trainee will be able to develop applications focusing on object oriented programming paradigm.
