The online registration process opened today, February 10, 2026, on the official website lawcet.tgche.ac.in. Eligible candidates can now apply for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by universities and affiliated colleges across the state.

About TG LAWCET & TG PGLCET 2026

The Telangana Law Common Entrance Test (TG LAWCET) is conducted for admission to 3-year and 5-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programmes, while the Telangana Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TG PGLCET) is held for admission to Master of Laws (LLM) programmes. Both entrance examinations are conducted annually and serve as the primary gateway to law education in Telangana.

As per the official notification, the TG LAWCET & TG PGLCET 2026 examinations will be held on May 18, 2026, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at designated examination centres.

Eligibility Criteria

For TG LAWCET 2026:

  • 3-Year LLB: Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university
  • 5-Year LLB: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent

For TG PGLCET 2026:

  • Candidates must possess an LLB degree from a recognised institution
