Monitoring of environment/ climate system is crucial to understand the Earth system and impact on human well-being and benefits. In view of rapid climate change, synoptic and uninterrupted monitoring of climatic variables holds its significance and highlights the necessity to understand the altering state of Earth's climate efficiently. Satellite observations of climatic parameters have evolved over the years and provide broad, spatially consistent and continuous sampling of essential environment and climate variables.

This conference will help researchers/ students to visualise the advantages of satellite monitoring of climatic/environment variables. The major objective of the conference includes -
To impart knowledge about satellite meteorology and its broader applications
To describe available satellite monitoring system for environment/ climatic system monitoring.

Course fees:

The conference fee is Rs. 2000/- per participant for government sponsored research departments and other professionals and Rs. 700/- per participant for full-time enrolled students. The fee is to be submitted in advance by cash/online gateway/ demand draft drawn in favor of the 'registrar TERI University' payable at New Delhi with completed application form.
