Telangana TS POLYCET 2024 exam date revised; Check out for more details

The TS POLYCET 2024 examination, originally set for May 17, has been postponed by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET). It will now be held on May 24. An official notice states, "Important: POLYCET-2024 Exam is rescheduled to 24-05-2024."

This exam is for individuals aiming for admission to diploma-level programs offered in government engineering colleges in Telangana. The results are anticipated to be announced around May 29.

TS POLYCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the TS POLYCET 2024 exam, candidates are advised to review the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
• There is no age restriction for appearing in the POLYCET 2024 exam.
• Candidates must be residents of the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
• Applicants should have passed the SSC Examination conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, or an equivalent examination recognized by the respective Board.
• Candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam and obtained a minimum of 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates from NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/other examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State should have passed all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with at least 35% marks in each subject.
• Candidates appearing for the SSC or equivalent examination scheduled in March/April-2024, with pending results, are also eligible to appear for TS POLYCET.

How to Fill TS POLYCET Application Form 2024?

To apply for TS POLYCET, candidates can follow the steps below:

• Visit the POLYCET website - polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in 2024.
• Click on the direct link for TS POLYCET registration 2024.
• After entering the registration details, verify the mobile number with OTP. An SMS containing the Registration number and password will be sent to the registered mobile number.
• Log in with the Registration number and Password to access the TS POLYCET application form.
• Click on "Pay Now."
• Select the payment gateway, proceed with payment, and complete the payment process.
• After successful payment, click on the "Fill TS POLYCET application form" tab.
• Enter Personal details and click on "Get Details."
• Enter Communication Details and click on "Next."
• Enter Category details and click on "Next."
• Enter Special Category details and click on "Next."
• Enter Exam Center Details and click on "Next."
• Enter Study Details and click on "Next."
• Upload Photo and signature as per the specified requirements.
• Preview all details and submit the TS POLYCET form for future reference.

Candidates who successfully pass the exam will then proceed to participate in the counseling process for further admission, which will be based on the merit list. General category candidates who achieve a minimum of 30 percent or 36 marks out of 120 will qualify for counseling, whereas SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum percentage requirement.
