Telangana Govt Declared Two-day Holiday for School

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange warning for the state for the next two days on Wednesday, suggesting the possibility of extensive rainfall.

Even though the government declared holidays, it was too late because most students had already arrived at their educational institutions. Furthermore, the order was not disseminated to educational institutions, placing children in jeopardy. A lot of students arrived at school despite heavy rains and traffic jams.

IMD issued an 'orange' signal (heavy to very heavy rainfall) for 12 districts on Thursday, including Mancherial, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashanker Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Siddipet. On Friday, a similar weather warning was issued for Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jagtial, and Jayashanker Bhupalpally.
