TANGEDCO Recruitment 2020 For 2,900 Field Assistants (Trainee), Apply Online From March 24 Onwards

The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TANGEDCO), under Govt. of Tamil Nadu, has invited applications through online mode from qualified and interested candidates for recruiting 2,900 Field Assistants (Trainee) under Level 2 of workmen pay matrix through direct selection. The registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from March 24, 2020 onwards, and closes on April 23, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Field Assistants (Trainee) post through TANGEDCO Recruitment 2020 must have attained 18 years of age as on July 1, 2019 and not be more than 30 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 32 years (MBC/DC, BCO, BCM) and 35 years (SC/SC(A)/ST/Destitute Widow - DW) as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 1000 (OC/BCO/BCM/ MBC/DC) and Rs. 500 (SC/SCA/ST/DW/PWD) respectively as examination fee through Challan mode at any of the following banks - Canara Bank/ Indian Bank/Indian Overseas Bank.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Field Assistants (Trainee) post through TANGEDCO Recruitment 2020 must possess an ITI (National Trade certificate/National Apprenticeship certificate) in Electrician (OR) Wireman (OR) Electrical Trade under Centre of Excellence Scheme from a recognised University/Institute.

Candidates should possess an adequate knowledge of the official language of the State, namely Tamil as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Field Assistants (Trainee) post through TANGEDCO Recruitment 2020 will be done through Certificate Verification, Physical Test and Competitive Written Examination.

Candidates selected as Field Assistants (Trainee) post through TANGEDCO Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 18,800 to Rs. 59,900 per month.
