The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, is expected to announce the Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) Supplementary Results 2026 for regular candidates in the last week of July 2026. Once released, students will be able to check their provisional marksheets through the official result portal, tnresults.nic.in, using their registration number and date of birth.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Supplementary Results 2026 for private candidates were declared on July 22, 2026. With that process completed, the focus has now shifted to the result declaration for regular students who appeared in the supplementary examinations.
The supplementary examinations were conducted to give students another opportunity to clear subjects they could not pass during the regular board examinations. Qualifying in these exams enables students to continue their academic journey without losing an academic year.
According to the examination schedule, the Class 12 (HSC) Supplementary Exams were held from June 29 to July 7, 2026, while the Class 10 (SSLC) Supplementary Exams took place from July 8 to July 15, 2026. The Class 11 Arrear Examinations were conducted between July 8 and July 16, 2026.
After the declaration of results, candidates can download their provisional marksheet from the official portal. The online marksheet will contain important details such as the student's name, registration number, subject-wise marks, total marks, grade, qualifying status, and other examination information.
Students are advised to carefully verify all details printed on the provisional scorecard. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact their respective schools or the Directorate of Government Examinations.
