The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has declared the class 12th/Plus 2 examination results today at 10 AM.
Overall 90.06% of students cleared the examination. 93.4% of girls and 87.4% of boys passed the exam.
The results of the Tamil Nadu Plus two/class 12th will be available only in the official website of Directorate of Government Educations.
A girl from Krishnagiri district, Sushanti got first rank with 1,193 marks in Plus 2.
Alamelu from Dharmapuri district, was placed in the second position with 1192 marks. The students from Namakkal and Chennai districts, D. Thulasi Rajan and S. Nithya respectively, were placed in the third place with 1,191 marks.
Erode district emerged as the top district in plus 2 results with 97.6% pass percentage, Nammakal with 96.59% and Virushunagar with 96.12%.
Tiruvannamalai district was placed last with 74.40% overall pass percentage.
Around 3,882 students have got 100% in Mathematics subject alone, out of which 2,403 students are from General Maths and 605 are from Business Mathematics.
15 students have got 200 out of 200 in Biology. 2,710 students have got 100% in Chemistry, 1,693 in Physics, 7 in Zoology and 2,581 in Economics subjects.
A total of 8.75 lakh students had appeared for the Plus two examination this year, out of which 3,74,1497 were boys and 4,38,392 were girls from 5,882 different schools.
