The Govt. of Tamil Nadu through the Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for filling 520 vacancies (Male/Female) to the post of Nurses (Sick Newborn Care Unit) on a contractual basis through direct recruitment. The application cum registration process towards the same will start from 06 February 2019 and will close on 26 February 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for the post of Nurses through Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on 01 July 2019 and must not have exceeded 32 years (Gen/OC) and 57 years for ST/SCA/SC/MBC&DNC/BCM/B categories as per the set rules.
All candidates falling under the SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) categories must pay the examination cum application fee of Rs. 350/- and all other candidates must pay Rs. 700/- as the examination cum application fee. Application fee can be paid either through online/offline mode. Through online mode candidates can deposit the amount by making use of Internet Banking/Debit/Credit, etc. payment gateways, and in the offline mode candidates are required to download a bank challan and pay it at any of the branches of the Indian Bank.

Educational Criteria And Experience
Desirous candidates applying for the post of Nurses through Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment 2019 must possess a Degree/Diploma in nursing, and must have registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
He/she must have obtained at least 3 years of training in General Nursing from an Institution/Organisation approved by the State Government. For more details about the educational eligibility, refer to the official notification provided at the end of the article.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Nurses through Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination to be conducted on 09 June 2019 and interview.
Candidates selected as Nurses will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 14,000/- per month with a yearly increment of Rs. 500/-
