Tamil Nadu half-yearly exams 2023 postponed: Exams to begin on December 13

The Tamil Nadu Director of School Education has announced the half-yearly test dates for students enrolled in state-run and government-aided institutions. According to the schedule, the half-yearly exams, which were previously slated for December 11, will begin on December 13. Exams for Classes 6 to 12 will be held from December 13 to 22, according to the School Education Department timetable. Due to Cyclone Michaung, schools in Chennai, Chengelpet, Kancheepuram, and Tiruvallur districts were closed from December 4 to 9, and half-yearly exams were also postponed.

Meanwhile, the Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Exam is set to take place from March 1 to 22, 2024, while the Class 11 (Plus One) Exam is set to take place from March 4 to 25, 2024.
