Tamil Nadu Government has decided to cancel the Class 12th board exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has taken the decision considering the health of students. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin has chaired a high-level meeting and decided to cancel the Tamil Nadu Class 12th board exams 2021. He also announced that a committee will be formed to formulate marks regarding the TN 12th board result 2021. Students are advised to keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.

The TN Class 12th exams 2021 were cancelled and students will be promoted based on the recommendations made by a committee.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin tweeted, It has been decided to cancel the examinations in the interest of the student after in-depth consultations on the Class XII examination. A committee is set up to make recommendations on the awarding of marks. Admission to higher education will be based on that score."

Stalin Urges Modi To Cancel All Entrance Exams

Chief Minister MK Stalin has also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding cancelling all the entrance examinations including the NEET and JEE Main exams considering the safety of students.

MK Stalin tweeted, "I've written to @PMOIndia urging him to cancel the conduct of NEET and all other national level entrance exams, keeping in mind the safety of the students, as the reasons for cancelling the class XII board exams are equally applicable to entrance exams as well."

On June 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting and decided to cancel the CISCE and CBSE Class 12th exams considering the health and safety of students. Many state boards have followed the CBSE and cancelled the Class 12th board exams amid the second wave of the Coronovarius.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Government has decided to promote all the students of Classes 1 to 8 to the next grade without exams considering the requests made by the parents amid the COVID pandemic.
