SWAYAM January 2026 Semester Exam Dates Announced; Exams from June 17 to 21

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the SWAYAM January 2026 Semester Examination schedule on its official website, nta.ac.in. The examinations for SWAYAM-16 will be conducted from June 17 to June 21, 2026, with buffer dates on June 22 and June 23, 2026.

The Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at providing free, high-quality online education to learners across the country. The SWAYAM January 2026 semester exams will be conducted for a total of 648 courses, covering a wide range of disciplines including engineering, science, management, humanities, social sciences, education, and vocational studies. These courses are offered by premier institutions such as IITs, IIMs, central universities, and other reputed educational bodies.

As per the official notification, the SWAYAM January 2026 examinations will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates must carefully check their course-wise schedule to know the exact date and shift of their examination.

The exams will be conducted in Hybrid Mode, which includes both Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Pen and Paper Test (PBT) formats. The mode of examination will depend on the specific course selected by the candidate.
