Sussex Varsity's programme to attract students from 120 countries

Living on its international spirit, Sussex university, has designed a programme in order to attract students and scholarships from more than 120 countries across the world. With three Nobel Prize winners to boast of, the university has close academic links with reputed Indian institutions. Also, it has worked with IIM (Bangalore) and Symbiosis International University under the UKIERI scheme and Tata institute of Social Sciences under a special MoU.

The university offer a range of degree programmes at the PG and UG level. Some of the programmes offered for the year 2014 are:

Programme for admission in Sussex University

Life Sciences: Genetic Manipulation and Molecular Cell Biology, Cancer Cell Biology, Molecular Neuroscience.

Management: MBA, International Management Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Management & Finance, Technology and Innovation Management, Human Resource Management.

Engineering: Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics and Communication Systems, Embedded Systems, RF Communications, Biomedical Instrumentation, Advanced Computer Science, Intelligent Systems, Human Computer Interaction, Multi Media Computing, Networking.

Social Sciences: Economics, Development Economics, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Health Psychology, Applied Social Psychology, Development Studies, Climate Change, Migration Studies, International Relations, Geopolitics and Grand Strategy, International Security, Corruption Studies, Anthropology, International Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Media and Journalism, Digital Media, Film Studies.

Scholarships: Most of Indian students are entitled to a £ 3000 scholarship on successful admission to a particular course. The Chancellor's International Scholarship (competitive) is offered to a select few and covers about £ 5000 tuition fee waivers. There are specific departmental scholarships, which are also announced from time to time during the admissions season.
