According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the use of Aadhaar for the students appearing for NEET-2017 will be the proof of applicant's details.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) has dropped another surprise. Students will now require Aadhaar card to appear for the NEET EXAM 2017.
As the sudden change has been accepted by colleges in the city, some colleges have even declared a day off for students who do not have Aadhaar cards, so they can apply for one.
In order to apply for NEET 2017 online, applicants in possession of Aadhaar will have to enter (as on Aadhar card) the name, number, date of birth and gender for the authentication of their identity.
Applicants who do not have Aadhaar cards are required to visit the closest Aadhaar center set up by the CBSE to get an enrolment.
CBSE has set up centers in every city of examination for such students to apply for the Aadhaar enrolment.
In a case of problems regarding the issuance of Aadhaar, students would be given a registration number that may be used at the time of application.
