Student from Jamshedpur tops ISC 2014

Ayush Banerjee, a student of The Loyola School, Jamshedpur has secured the highest percentage of 99.25% in ISC 2014. He was quoted saying that, though he was expecting a good percentage, he was really surprised when he heard that he was the country's topper.

Shruthi Agarwal from Lucknow and Rohini Chandrashekhar from Kanpur came second with 99%.

A total of 1,360 students from 26 different school had appeared for the ISC exam which was conducted between February 10 and April 11, 2014.
