Staff Selection Commission Postpones SI Delhi Police, CAPF And ASI in CISF Exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF examination 2019 scheduled on May 8, 2021. The Commission has postponed the exams due to a surge in COVID-19 cases across the country. It has announced that the revised exam dates will be announced in due course. The SSC has released a notice regarding the postponement of the SSC Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination 2019 scheduled on May 8. The new dates will be announced soon.

The official notice reads, "Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer the Paper-II of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination-2019 scheduled on 08-05-2021. The fresh date for the said examination will be intimated in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission regularly for the updates."

Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-I 2020 on April 19. The SSC CHSL exam dates for the balancing candidates will be updated soon.

The Commission has released the final result of the SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination 2018. It has shortlisted 2557 candidates (258 Female and 2299 Male) for appearing in the Document Verification. The shortlisted candidates will be posted to the following posts:

A - Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
B - Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
D - Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
E - Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF)
F - Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
