SSSB Punjab: Apply Online For 25 Food Safety Officers (FSO) Posts Starting Today

The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB), Govt. of Punjab, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 25 vacancies to the post of Food Safety Officers (FSO) through direct recruitment. The online application process towards same starts from January 20, 2020 and closes on February 10, 2020 by 5:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for FSO posts through SSSB Punjab must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 37 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved categories as per the Punjab Govt. and PSSSB guidelines.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 600 (Gen/UR), Rs. 300 (Hanidcapped/PWD), Rs. 150 (SC/BC/EWS) and Rs. 100 (Ex-SM and Dependent) respectively as application processing fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or any other mode as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for FSO posts through SSSB Punjab must have passed Punjabi in Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent; possess a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Biotechnology/Oil Technology/Agricultural Science/ Veterinary Sciences/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognised University/Institution as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for FSO posts through SSSB Punjab will be done through a Written Examination and Viva Voce (Interview).

Candidates selected for FSO posts through SSSB Punjab will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 10,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month.
