SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Result Declared

The Staff Selection Commission is all to release the Grade C & D result on April 15, 2019. Here are the steps to check the Grade C & D result.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had conducted the Stenographer Grade C and D examination between February 5 and 8, 2019. The examination was held in an online mode. Over 4.36 lakh candidates registered for the examination out of which only 1.85 lakh, i.e., 42.43%, appeared for the test. The examination was conducted at 208 centres in 107 cities across the country.

The Commission has released the SSC Stenographer result for Grade C and D on April 15, 2019. Aspirants who have appeared for the examination can check the result on the official website of SSC. Here are the steps to check the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D result.

Steps To Check SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Result

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC - ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the results tab.
Step 3 - Go to the 'SSC Steno C & D'.
Step 4 - Click on the relevant link and submit the login credentials.
Step 5 - Download and take a printout of the SSC Stenographer result for future reference.

SSC Stenographer Selection Process

Candidates who clear the written examination held in the month of February will be shortlisted for a skill test. The final merit list of the candidates will be based on the marks secured in the written examination followed by a skill test.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test

The qualified candidates have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography. The test comprises one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade 'D'. The duration of the test varies from one to another. The skill test will be held only at the Regional/ Sub Regional Offices.

Every year, the Commission conducts the Stenographer Grade C & D examination for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisation in the Government of India.
