The central recruiting agency, Staff Selection Commission (SSC), has released the SSC Stenographer recruitment 2019 notification. The notification was released for Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B', Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C') for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Age Limit
- Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years as on January 1, 2020
- Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years as on January 1, 2020
Note: The age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen categories.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100. Candidates have to pay the fee through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card. However, the application fee is relaxed for women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD categories.
How To Apply For SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2019
Interested candidates can submit their applications through online mode. One should visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.nic.in) to apply online. The last date to apply online for SSC Stenographer recruitment is October 18, 2019.
SSC Stenographer Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be based on the online written examination and skill test in stenography. The computer-based examination consists of three subjects General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. The online test will be held from May 5 to 7, 2020. Candidates who qualify in the computer-based test are called for skill test.
