SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2022 Out: How to download, Salary and Role of a Stenographer

All the aspirants of SSC Stenographer post, watch out!

SSC has released the Stenographer Admit Card 2022 for the exam that is going to take place on the 17th and 18th of November 2022. Candidates can download their respective Admit Cards by logging into the websites of the SSC of the region they belong to. So far, 5 regional SSC Boards have released the Admit Card; they are NWR, CR, MPR, WR and NER.

So just go to the SSC website of the region you belong to, log in by entering your credentials like Registration Number and Date of Birth, and you will receive your individual Admit Card for the SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam. In case you belong to a region that hasn't uploaded the Admit Card, just wait. It will soon be uploaded.

Purpose of the SSC Stenographer Exam 2022

The SSC Stenographer Exam 2022 is going to be conducted to fill up posts of Stenographers across Group C and Group D. Those selected for final appointment will draw a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000.

What does a Stenographer do?

Broadly speaking, a Stenographer is responsible for writing, compiling, and managing all formal documents that an office requires for functioning properly.


How to Download the SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2022?

  • Go to the official website of the SSC of your region
  • On the homepage itself, you'll see the link to SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2022. Click on it.
  • You'll be taken to a login window.
  • Provide your login credentials such as "Registration ID/Roll Number, Mother Name, and Date of Birth to proceed
  • You will now see your SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2022 on the screen.
  • Download, and take a printout of the same. You can't sit in the exam without it.

Documents to Carry

  • Be very mindful that just having the Admit Card is not enough! You also need to take along a government photo ID (in original) having the same Date of Birth as printed on Admit Card.
  • In case of any mismatch in the Date of Birth; consider yourself barred from the exam hall.
  • Also, carry a recently clicked passport-size photo of yours.

Points to Remember

  • Please check your Admit Card thoroughly for any errors.
  • Make sure it has the correct Name, Venue Address, Exam Date, and so on to avoid any last-minute hassle.
  • Inform the SSC, and get the errors corrected, as soon as you find any.
